A chartered organization is a community group, school, or place of worship that partners with Scouting to host a Troop . Our chartered organization is responsible for providing meeting facilities and leadership, and ensures the program is properly delivered. Troop 605 has several organizations that provide meeeting space and mentoring.

Bethlehem House of Bread is a community-focused food pantry in Tigard, OR that feeds those who are hungry in body and spirit at a table where all are welcome. Troop 605 was fortunate enough to meet here during the pandemic and regularly return the good deed through service and volunteering.

Summers are fantastic in Beaverton, and the Troop enjoys meeting outside often during warm evenings. WIth nature, frisbee golf, sports and biking, this place has it all.
Troop 605 is a proudly registered unit within the Cascade Pacific Council,
regularly attaining the Gold level on the Journey to Excellence Scorecard.
